No need to take your seats, we aren’t having a full class today.

I just wanted to drop a quick note to apologize for the lack of info from the Professor lately (yes, yes the Professor went 3rd person. If ya smell…)

I tend to be a picky movie goer. If I have no interest in seeing the movie, I usually won’t go. I realize most movie reviewers should go see everything, but let’s be honest, that’s just not me. When they release Twilight 15: Emo Love and Acting Lessons, you just won’t find me in line.

However, when the next year brings up The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey you can bet your asses I’ll be there. Amazing Spider-Man, The Expendables 2, and Iron Man 3? One please. Hell, I even see rumors of remakes like Judge Dredd and Total Recall are expected for next year. I’ll be there. (For the record, some of these are just rumored and may not be next year, but these are ones I would look forward to seeing.)

I think you all get the point. Fortunately, the Big Boss is taking care of seeing just about everything else the Professor won’t, so you’ll still get great reviews from our site. Keep with us and check back often.

So what else can we expect from the Professor when he has a movie lull? I think I’m going to start doing some old school movie reviews and maybe some Top Ten lists. Yeah, some of that stuff is kind of hack, but you’d be amazed who jumps in when stuff like that shows up. I may also delve into some music reviews. I’ll also take requests, if you want my take on something, but keep in mind, I hold veto rights.

First up? Either my review of Chasing Amy or Green Lantern, depending on which one I get to first. Either or should be worth a read.
