OldBoy?..More Gratuitously Violent Movies you say?.. YES INDEED!!!

What it is folks!!! Ya boy Abyss215 back at it again with another older one for ya.

 

I have not seen any posts about this movie yet but for real for real tell me that yall have seen this movie called OldBoy. Another OMG this is so ridiculously gratuitously violent. Another movie that I love and has moved very high on my all time list.

 

 

 

 

 

This movie was directed by…. Wait for it…. Wait for it…. Spike Lee of all people. Anyone who knows me know that I am not a big Spike Lee fan since after he did the “lil penny” commercials but I will say for sure he did the damn thing in this movie. He hit on every part of the movie to make the storyline come together and even left you in suspense and left a sort of cliff hanger ending.

 

 

 

This movie takes place when Joe Doucett an Advertising executive played by Josh Brolin(who also played in “Men In Black 3” and “No Country for Old Men”), is kidnapped and imprisoned for 20 years for no apparent reason but not by the police. He sees his family killed on the news and is even more so remorseful because he wasn’t the best father/husband as well as being a raging alcoholic. While imprisoned he plans his revenge for when he gets out and goes through self-destructive tribulations whilst in captivity. He….. Well I feel I have told you enough as it is but it is great with a multitude of twists and turns that will have you cheering, cringing, crying, and whatever else your emotions can muster for this action packed movie.

 

 

 

 

OldBoy was released in November 2013.
