Looks like we’re getting reports here that Michelle MacLaren, director of such shows as Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead” has left the Wonder Woman project as the director. The official statement says that Warner Bros. and MacLaren have split on the project due to “creative difference”. Colossus On The Set Of ‘Deadpool’
Our wonderful merk with a mouth takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’. Even after a hit and run accident involving a Paparazzo (or whatever you call them… is that what you call them?), Ryan Reynolds still comes in for filming. Along with that, we’re hearing that Colossus is on the set (see pictures below… he’s the big one at the end) suited up in his mo-cap suit we’ll get to see the character make an appearance in the film come next year but for now just take a look at the shots below. Constantine To Get The Axe?
It’s been a great year and change for comic book TV, but I’m sad to report that NBC’s Constantine is having a tough go of it making it to season 2. For all the efforts made by the show runners, NBC may decide to cancel the occult centered comic book show. Reports are coming in that are stating that show has received the axe, but no official announcement has been released yet, so there may be a possibility that the show may make it to Netflix or Amazon Prime. At this point it’s all hearsay, so we’ll keep you up if anything changes.
Update: From the man himself, showrunner Daniel Cerone Clarifies that the series is NOT canceled. click here for details.

Katee Sackhoff Is Making A New Sci-Fi Show
Katee Sackhoff, known to most as Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica, is one of them most iconic Sci-Fi stars out today. She’s actually one of my favorite names being put out there for the Captain Marvel movie. She’ll be teaming up with Reunion Pictures for this deal and from producer Tom Rowe, she’s been receiving high praise for this latest effort.
“With Rain, Katee has created a future world and a story that are compelling as both a sweeping vision and a very personal exploration of a civilization in harrowing decline by its own hand,…She has written a great story and we are excited to be working with her.”
According to Deadline, “Rain is described as an evolutionary parable that gives us a look into our possible future as a species viewed through the eyes of a soldier named Rain (Sackhoff). It explores how the long-term effects of global warming, the burning of fossil fuels and the scientific manipulation of nature’s balance rot the world and contribute to its decline.”
Right now Sackhoff is co-staring in Longmire, which is making it’s transition to Netflix. You may have recently seen her in the viral online-video Power/Rangers (14 million views… I’m sure you might have seen it. If not, check it out here).

Olivia Munn To Play Psylocke
Looks like we’ve got some casting news. Olivia Munn (Beyond the Break, Attack of the Show!, The Daily Show, and Mortdecai) has been signed on to play the role of Betsy Braddock a.k.a. Psylocke. It’ll be interesting to see what she brings to the film. I think it’s perfect casting, because any geek knows she loves the material. It’ll be an interesting aside to her prior roles, but it will be much welcomed. Congratulations, Olivia!
That’s all the fresh Geek News of the Day I have for you come back tomorrow and we’ll bring you some more. Later!
